The three disciplines: ACTING, SINGING,
DANCING
Separate lessons are given in each of the three disciplines to ensure that students focus on enhancing, through
specialist tuition, their skills in all areas. Some skills will naturally be
reflected in all three disciplines; listening, team work, co-operation, evaluation, memory and performance.
Acting
During the term, students will explore a wide range of drama skills and techniques aimed at expanding their
overall acting ability. Through their work and the opportunity to direct and
perform to each other, students develop many drama, and non-drama related skills; spontaneity, imagination, naturalness, voice,
timing, group awareness and communication, movement, thought and emotions, line learning and performance techniques.
Singing
Working on a range of different styles of music, students will learn how to control the voice through breathing
and use of resonance, how to project their voice, how to pronounce the voice correctly, how to work on harmonies and to work
with different rhythms. They will also be given many opportunities to perform.

Dancing
The main style taught at Stage Crazy is known as street jazz. This
modern form of dance is suitable and enjoyed by students of all ages and abilities.
The course will encourage development, better co-ordination, rhythm, posture, and fitness, through learning routines
and combinations. Students will also work on their performance skills.
Stage Crazy Age Groupings
To ensure that students get the most from their tuition, our students are divided into small groups according
to age and ability.
Private Lessons
Are available in Acting, Singing and Dance.
Lessons work towards the London Academy of Music and Dramtic Arts (LAMDA) examinations.
